Justin Dooley is a Growth and Profitability Consultant for coffee, dessert, and ice cream brands.
With over 15 years of hands-on experience in the sector, Justin specialises in helping founder-led brands unlock hidden margin, streamline operations, and scale with confidence.
After graduating with a Business degree from Manchester Metropolitan University, Justin began his career in hospitality, catering for high-profile clients including HRH Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Unilever, and the Freemasons. In 2012, he launched Caffe Cream, a café concept built around small-batch, Italian-style ice cream.
Justin travelled to Italy to master traditional gelato-making techniques, returning to the UK to develop an award-winning recipe and efficient, scalable operating model. He built a vertically integrated supply chain from scratch, including a state-of-the-art ice cream factory in Wallasey, established in 2015, and grew the brand to five locations.
He also developed the infrastructure to make Caffe Cream franchise-ready, positioning the brand for national expansion.
Justin is a Chartered Manager (CMgr MCMI), a Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses graduate and a former Young Entrepreneur of the Year. In 2022, he earned an MBA in Senior Leadership, specialising in Change Management, with a focus on improving company culture and customer experience while increasing profitability.
Under Justin’s leadership, Caffe Cream received over 70 industry awards, including; UK’s Best Café, Liverpool’s Taste Award, recognition from the Café Life Awards and the British Sandwich Association, and multiple Great Taste Awards.
Justin now runs a specialist consulting practice that works exclusively with coffee, ice cream, and dessert brandsoperating between 1 and 10 locations. He partners with ambitious founders ready to tighten operations, improve profit margins, and build a brand capable of national scale.
